RECIPE: Lemon Cupcakes

Look who's back in the kitchen! Olivia & Teddy are making lemon cake with real lemon zest. Is it going to be a baking fail or win? You'll have to watch to find out 😜 Then give it a try yourself with the recipe below.

INGREDIENTS

  • Lemon cake mix

  • 1 cup water

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil (or apple sauce for a healthier alternative!)

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 lemon

  • Vanilla icing

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. Pour lemon cake mix into mixing bowl.

  3. Add water, vegetable oil or apple sauce and eggs and mix everything together!

  4. Grate the skin of a lemon into the mixture.

  5. Butter your baking tin and pour batter into the cupcake slots (filling halfway to allow for rising).

  6. Put in oven and let bake for 17-20 minutes.

  7. Remove from oven and let cool for 10-15 minutes.

  8. Add vanilla icing and sprinkle more lemon zest on top!

  9. ENJOY!!!
