RECIPE: Lemon Cupcakes
Look who's back in the kitchen! Olivia & Teddy are making lemon cake with real lemon zest. Is it going to be a baking fail or win? You'll have to watch to find out 😜 Then give it a try yourself with the recipe below.
INGREDIENTS
Lemon cake mix
1 cup water
1/2 cup vegetable oil (or apple sauce for a healthier alternative!)
3 eggs
1 lemon
Vanilla icing
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Pour lemon cake mix into mixing bowl.
Add water, vegetable oil or apple sauce and eggs and mix everything together!
Grate the skin of a lemon into the mixture.
Butter your baking tin and pour batter into the cupcake slots (filling halfway to allow for rising).
Put in oven and let bake for 17-20 minutes.
Remove from oven and let cool for 10-15 minutes.
Add vanilla icing and sprinkle more lemon zest on top!
