TOP TAKEAWAYS FROM THIS EPISODE

Q: Why is it that moms are the ones that are bearing the brunt of the load during all of this pandemic all at once?

A: It's old fashioned...And we're tired. We don't have a response, we just "do it". We raise our sons and daughters. To look back, we traveled for work and we put the responsibility of showing other people what their roles could be in helping to raise our kids and our kids even became sufficient in areas without us when we are gone. It has helped to take off some of the load from our plates as moms. We have to take the pressure off ourselves...We can't do it all without help..We'd go crazy.

Q: Did either of you have disagreements on the number of kids you were planning on having?

A: Nat had always wanted 4 but had to push for the 4th after the 3rd.

Q: Have you ever been mom judged and told the mom judger to f*ck off?

A: People have made comments or remarks but we haven't snapped or clapped back at those people. We wouldn't have a problem telling people our point of view though!

Q: How do you manage to unplug and unwind…separating work aside from family?

A: Nat’s family has the opportunity to sit down as a family for dinner and put their phones away. Try to make "moments" of down time even if work can be an escape in your brain. Cat walks the dog every night with the two older kids and they don't bring phones, and they just all talk and walk and have good conversations.

Q: How do you decide what to promote and why? What are your hard no's for business?

A: In the past and up until now it's been so easy. We know what and who we are and what we stand for. We turn down obvious no's that just don't apply to us and our brand and what we stand for. We have learned how to become more savvy about asking the brand what their mission is and what they really want from us.
