Q&A SESSION:

  • How do you balance being a mom to Rigatoni but also mothering your own mother?

Heather says the roles have totally reversed and she worries about her mom as if she were her own child. On top of that, she has a wild French bulldog who is the love of her life, but he’s a covid puppy with no socialization so she’s dealing with three trainers right now and is mortified when she takes him out in public because she’s worried he’s not normal. Heather says that if she worries this much over a dog and her mom, what’s going to happen when she has kids?! We say they’re breaking her in!

  • What do you do if you still have feelings for an ex and you’re married?

Heather’s advice is to have those feelings from afar. Don’t talk about those feelings. Go to a therapist, bury that deep down inside and don’t even tell your girlfriends. And stalk very hard on Facebook via a quiet, anonymous account. Stalking is fine, talking is not fine.

  • What are some tips on how to be a water buffalo and still get down in the bedroom confidently?

Heather’s advice is to go into it confidently, but if you’re larger up top, don’t try to have sex where the gentleman or other lady picks you up.

  • My 15-year-old caught me doing dogging style, address or ignore?

Heather would ignore literally until her funeral (or until she took her last breath).

  • When should I stop tracking my child with an iPhone? He’s 19 at college.

Never. Heather’s mom, Robin, microchipped her ass a long time ago (she said jokingly - we think?), and now Heather tracks her mom. Her and her three girlfriends also follow each other as well.

  • Are you going to document the freezing and unfreezing of your eggs?

Heather said she’s totally open to it. She has been such an open book. As a comedian, her life is about telling her human experience. She’s not trying to get pregnant tomorrow, she’s just trying to plan it if she can. She’s putting her eggs on ice and then coming up with a plan, but she’ll see how it goes. If she gets pregnant, she gets pregnant. If she doesn’t, she’ll figure it out and get seven more French bulldogs. Heather is along for the ride and doesn’t mind being the guinea pig and finding the humour in it all, because if it helps somebody else on their journey in life then she did her job.
