January 2020 was such a pivotal month for our business, and we chat more about it in this week’s podcast! We’ve changed up our “tour” model, created our Tween & Teen Community (which we are honestly so proud of), and we feel such a positive energy that is literally radiating onto others. We also talk about failure and why we aren’t afraid of it, share our “advice” for kickstarting and growing a business aaaand we make a few surprise phone calls to find out more about tantric sex/masturbation 😜

As we engage in conversations with the therapists from our Tween & Teen Community, we’re learning that this parenting has a lot in common with entrepreneurship. It's an interesting parallel for us to learn.
When we put sh*t out into the universe enough times... It happens.
We have always been focused on growing, rather than looking at what we are doing in this moment. But we’ve realized that we're missing opportunities by constantly looking outward at what's next.
Sometimes an obstacle is put in your place because you're not on the right path and you need to figure out a way around it.
Do we fail? Yes. Is it always amazing? No. But we’re not afraid to do it, so failure isn’t as scary to us. The only problem tied to failure is when you have a fear of failing.
Our energy is super strong right now because we are on the right path. There is a flow that you can feel when you clear away all of the sh*t and you get in a good head space.
Self-care is even bigger than taking a moment for yourself. Self-care is teaching yourself that when you go down a path of “I'm not enough. I'm a bad person. I wish I could do this differently…” you have to check yourself and figure out what you can do differently. Where are you succeeding? What are you happy with? Focus on the good rather than focusing on everything you're not. And when your kids go down that path, ask them if they would talk to your friend that way. Start teaching them at a young age how to re-train the way they speak to themselves.
