Q&A SESSION:

  • A lot of women are their own biggest critic, and when you say that you don't know how you're doing all that you're doing, don't you think that your attitude and believing in yourself has gotten you to where you are today?

Sasha talks about her inner critic and self-doubt at the 3 min. mark. Tune in to find out how she has developed more confidence and strength over the years…

  • You're all about health, fitness and treating your body well. Where do you get the drive to keep going? Are you driven because of the health issues you've experienced in the past or is it just something that's innately in you?

Sasha says it's the only way she'll survive. Listen in at the 7 min. mark to hear about her illness, her diagnosis with a very rare kidney disease, her relapse, hospitalization, and how she lost everything. She's an anomaly because she's not even supposed to be functioning in the way that she is today.

  • You say you’ve always had self-doubt but it sounds like you have a major intuition that guides you? Would you agree that self-doubt can co-exist with confidence?

It totally can! Sasha hates to use this phrase, but she said she essentially hit rock bottom and didn't really have anything else to lose. Her whole life that she meticulously calculated was falling apart and she had to take back control and re-boot her life and venture down this new path. Tune in at the 13.40 min. mark for more on this.

  • How did you pick yourself up from rock bottom? How do you find the light again?

Sasha said she wrote a lot. She started meditating, she started journaling and really getting in tune with her thoughts and why she was in the place she was in and what she wanted from her life. She talks more about this and offers inspiration and advice at the 15.10 min. mark.

  • You're open about co-parenting with your ex. You two get along, but how did you manage to get to this place in your relationship?

Sasha explains that this was not an amicable breakup - she was left without warning. She opens about her experience and the reason why she needed to put her ego and feelings on the back-burner in order to get to a better place with her ex at the 21.53 min. mark.

  • You are so busy as a working, single mom. You have so much going on. How do you do it all?

Sasha likes to work strategically. Find out more about how she does it at the 28.27 min. mark. And keep listening to hear about her partnerships and all the exciting things coming down the pipeline!

  • When you look back at all of the years compared to where you are now as a woman, as a business woman and as a mom, how do you feel? Is this where you feel the best and where you've gained the most confidence? Was it 5 years ago? Was it when you were playing tennis?

Her separation was pivotal for Sasha. She wasn't happy in the relationship but she didn't have the guts to leave, so he actually did her a favour by leaving. Tune in at the 33.17 min. mark to hear how her separation actually showed her that she can thrive on her own.

  • Is it exciting to think about the possibility of dating again?

Sasha says it makes her want to vom. Listen in at the 36.19 min. mark for her honest answer and some laughs!

  • A lot of people get hammered with negative comments on their posts and have to step away from the social media world for the sake of their mental health. Do you experience this type of hate and how do you personally let it go?

Sasha explains that she didn't start receiving hateful comments until last summer. It was during the BLM movement that she became more vocal about a few topics, and she got entangled in something that got blown out in the media, and that’s when things changed indefinitely for her on that platform. Tune in at the 40.25 min. mark to hear how she handles the hate and has learned to block it and let it go.
